STUDIOSENZI is a fiber art studio that blends heritage with contemporary craft. Founded by Senzi, the studio focuses on crochet as both a creative practice and a way to honor tradition.

Crochet has been passed down through generations of matriarchs in Senzi’s family, from her grandmother to her mother and now to her. Each stitch is a connection to the women who came before her—a way to celebrate their creativity, resilience, and influence.

Beyond heritage, the studio is also a space of reclamation. Crochet, like many historically feminine crafts, has often been dismissed as “less than art.” Through intricate, wearable works, STUDIOSENZI challenges these biases, reshaping the narrative around fiber art and elevating it as a medium of self-expression, identity, and empowerment.
